UV digital printing process: advantages and functionality

How does UV digital printing work?

We also print your front membranes, signs or stickers using the UV digital printing process. UV printing is a form of digital printing that uses ultra-violet light to dry and cure ink as it is printed. Digital printing offers absolute design flexibility regarding layout creation: color gradients and photo-realistic motifs are its strengths! In addition, digital printing does not require films or screens, which reduces the one-time costs and processing time.

Advantages of UV digital printing process

Strengths of digital printing are screen gradients and high resolution

Gradation and photo-realistic picture printing

Digital printing allows for virtually all and even very unusual designs to be processed. Complex gradation and fine lines do not represent a problem. High resolution and four-ink printing technology ensure excellent quality and photo-realistic results.

UV hardening inks

Application of UV hardening inks bestows upon printing products excellent weather durability and scratch-resistance. The UV inks are dried during the printing process by means of UV light. This eradicates tedious drying times and the printed materials can immediately be processed.

Small numbers of copies and building prototypes

Due to the reduced number of interim steps and a high degree of automation digital printing a small number of copies remains economical. Various printing possibilities are available including white background printing, UV gloss and matt finishes, key embossing, adhesive lamination, pre-cutting and customised techniques.
